The Club
Established in 1868 we are one of the longest running clubs in Great Britain.
Our club is run entirely by volunteers who work tirelessly to ensure the continued success of the club.
We welcome participants and encourage healthy lifestyles, provide advice and direction to help our members stay in sport and maintain a lifelong love of swimming and sport.
We encourage our older swimmers to pass on their skills in the pool to up and coming youngsters by becoming helpers and then progressing to a level 1 ASA teaching badge. Our level 2 coaches are the backbone of our programme, they develop the teaching strategy and lesson plans, ensure teaching is to the highest standards and mentor our level 1's and assistants.

We have strict policies and guidelines on child safeguarding which can be viewed on request.
All the coaches and teachers are volunteers, with each being ASA registered, and anyone who will interact with your child has been CRB checked and attends mandatory Child Safeguarding courses.
